The Ruby Project reaches out to girls (ages 13-24) who've experienced abuse & various traumas. Our goal? To help these girls realize that, despite what they’ve been through, they are still worth far more than Rubies (Proverbs 31:10). So every year, we host all-expense-paid “Ruby Retreats.” A special time where our girls participate in designed mental health workshops, woman’s health workshops, and creative art therapies, which help these girls “rewrite” their stories in a way that helps them take back their power and approach their lives with a new found sense of purpose and strength. Read more about us here. Each retreat culminates with our “Ruby Arts Showcase” where the girls come before an audience and share their NEW stories through art. It is easily the most powerful and transformative moment of the treat – for both the girls and the audience!
